Hand Braided Reata

These reatas are hand braided by Henry. Here’s what he has to say about them.

“These are not imports from Mexico. My reatas are braided from premium rawhide in the fashion taught to me by Randy Rieman, who was a disciple of Bill Dorrance and is considered one of the greatest reata braiders of our time. They’ll look great on anyone’s wall, from a ranch house to hacienda, but beyond that, they’re finely braided functional working reatas. If you don’t know how to rope with one, I can tell you it takes a lifetime of practice. There are a lot of little tricks you’ll need to know, and you may break one. It’s part of it, but if you do your job these reatas will do theirs.”
